Harvey Greene started Greene Acres Farm by purchasing land from local farmers over a period of 30 years. He was a very successful business man who always had a love of farming. In 1979 Fredric Greene carried on the tradition until 2012. In 2012 Michael Greene took over the operations and is still running the farm to this day. Mike and his son Tony decided to start to sell directly to the public after buying inferior beef from the supermarkets for years. The Gen 5 Brand was created to ensure Mike's Grandchildren, Margit, Daniel, Tyler and Emery will be able to provide sustainable beef for Generations to come.
